4M Wireless Ltd., has won the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) Mobile World Congress competition in 2009.

The Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network in the UK (DCKTN) collaborated with UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) to organise a competition to select upcoming mobile wireless companies in the UK with innovative wireless products. 4M Wireless came first in the intensive selection process. The firm's success in the competition is based on its pioneering work in wireless communications with respect to other companies in the UK.

4M Wireless Ltd. has been honoured with an award for its product innovation. The company was bestowed the Product Innovation of the Year Award by Frost & Sullivan in 2008. The award has been presented in recognition of the company's efforts in designing and developing the innovative 3GPP LTE Protocol Stack for User Equipment (UE) terminals.

The Product Innovation Award is presented each year to the company that establishes excellence in new products and technologies within its industry. 4M Wireless was selected for demonstrating technical superiority and commercial success within the category of LTE protocol stacks. The company was benchmarked with other companies in this sector as well as top tier cellular equipment vendors within the LTE market.

4M Wireless Ltd, was named as one of the Top 15 Innovators in the EMEA Tournament of the GSM Association's (GSMA) 2009 Mobile Innovation Global Award Competition. The GSMA is the global trade group for the mobile industry.

The Mobile Innovation Global Award Competition is organized by the GSMA and is aimed at selecting and showcasing the most innovative products and services for the mobile industry. The Top Innovators were chosen by a judging panel that included senior figures from leading mobile operators and venture capital organisations. 4M Wireless was selected from a list of 450 companies and was one of the three firms selected in the Most Innovative Wireless Device-centric Technology category.
